Our teachers are all qualified,
and they are full of youth and dedication. Let's ask them for
tips on studying Japanese and on what can be learned at Tokyo
Galaxy. |
 |
|
Grammar
is the key. There are many people who come to Japan with idle
feelings, and leave without having learned or mastered anything
at all. To prevent such a tragedy, at Tokyo Galaxy you will
have basic grammar drills so that you will have a firm understanding
of "Useful Japanese".
When you are an adult, you cannot acquire a foreign language
in the same way a child learns a language. The Processes are
different. Only listening to the language is
not enough.
By using grammar systematically the adult brain can absorb a
foreign language effectively.

In fact, I studied Chinese in my adulthood. I believe that
the tips on mastering a foreign language through my own study
process are connected with the "importance of grammar"
I mentioned before.
If you try hard for a certain period of time, you will be
able to speak fluent Japanese. Please study with me at Tokyo
Galaxy! We are waiting for you.

Among
the students who come to Japan, there are many who had studied
Japanese at universities or language schools in their countries.
In spite of having studied, they still do not speak well.
Of course, they can read and write Japanese, as these can
be learned in their own countries. But hearing spontaneous
Japanese, and using it in daily life, can be done only in
Japan.
The lessons of Tokyo Galaxy have put special emphasis on
speaking and listening to practical Japanese, especially at
the elementary level.
Obtaining a solid base at the beginning will make a huge
difference students' communication
abilities when they proceed to the intermediate level.

At Tokyo Galaxy, we try to provide our students with opportunities
to interact with people from many countries, including Japan,
such as meeting student groups from Keio University, and organizing
multinational classes.

Tokyo
Galaxy is in an excellent environment. Located near the world
famous Tokyo Tower, and also surrounded by office buildings,
embassies, and a university, it is a place where you can study
Japanese in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There are many
shops around the station used by
businesspeople and university
students, so the students can find part-time jobs in the area.
I was surprised to see our current students and graduates
working at shops I had happened to enter. It was a pleasure
to see the students working hard both inside and outside of
class. They really look lively.
I
would like all the students to achieve their individual goals
for studying Japanese.
Therefore, we have prepared classes to master Japanese
which are useful to the students after they graduate from our
school. These include
the “Optional Subject System"
and a special preparatory class for entry into
top-level universities, etc.,
where the curriculum is designed for future advancement. Of course,
we make an effort to provide
support for living arrangements, counseling, and so on, so
we can ensure that you will study in comfort.
